- Sylvia Pope, 78, spends more than three months hanging 1,760 baubles
- ‘Nana Baubles’ has the world’s largest collection of the festive ornaments
- She hopes to have 2,000 of them up by 2022 and will take them down in March
Most of us can get our Christmas decorations up in an hour or two.
But with 1,760 baubles to hang from her ceiling, it takes Sylvia Pope, 78, more than three months.
Now the Swansea grandmother known as Nana Baubles has set the record for the world’s largest collection of the festive ornaments.
Despite being recognised by Guinness World Records, she’s not resting on her laurels – and hopes to have 2,000 up by the new year.
Mrs Pope, who has been collecting baubles from around the world for years, begins hanging them up in September and takes them down in March – although one year she left them up for the full 12 months.
