The Heart Melted Emotional Moment When The Newborn Twins Hug Their Mother

Their embrace, believed to have melted many hearts in the delivery room for the first time.

“Liz hugs Beatriz like,‘ phew sis, I’m here with you! ” Luana Guimaraes, mother of the twins, said. She shared the moment on her Instagram page on February 18, it went viral shortly after it was uploaded. This photo was taken by photographer Bruna Costa while giving birth. “It will be very special when they see this moment in the future,” said Costa.

Luana revealed that her oldest son predicted the twins’ arrival in her early days of pregnancy.

“A few days before I knew I was pregnant, my oldest child dreamed of her twins. When I saw those two kids on that little screen, I was sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇᴅ. I couldn’t believe it, ”said Guimaraes.

The babies were ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇᴅ at 37 weeks without any ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴs. Mothers and babies are doing well. A sᴛᴜᴅʏ titled ‘Twins and  ᴘᴇʀɪɴᴀᴛᴀʟ results: Data from Rᴇsᴇᴀʀᴄʜᴇʀs in Brazil’ shows that twins account for 2-3% of all births worldwide. The rate of twins is 1.13% in Brazil alone. The rate of twins is higher in Brazil regions with a higher Human Development Index.

Twins in Brazil have a higher rate of low birth weight and growth ʀesᴛʀɪᴄᴛɪoɴ than single births. Along with that, twins have a ɴᴇɢᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ impact on  ᴘᴇʀɪɴᴀᴛᴀʟ health indicators, as they have a higher ʀɪsᴋ of  ᴘᴇʀɪɴᴀᴛᴀʟ mortality, especially with higher rates of preterm birth.

In low- and middle-income countries, the early infant mortality rate among twins is seven times higher.  Among premature births, twins have a higher rate of oxygen therapy and are admitted to an infant intensive care unit.
