Her amazing story covers more than a decade of hope, patience, despair and finally unbridled joy as her wish for a family with her husband Allen came true.
Kayla Glines and her husband, who live in Salt Lake City, Utah had been trying to ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ for years. When it didn’t look like it was forthcoming, they decided to adopt her brother’s daughters. With the girls a part of their family, Kayla and Allen still kept hope alive even if the doctors told them that they could never ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ naturally. Luckily, 32-year-old Kayla got pregnant in 2017 after ғᴇʀᴛɪʟɪᴛʏ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ and discovered she was having triplets. Given that she was a triplet herself, it was terrific news. She said: ” We just couldn’t believe it when I went for a scan and the doctor told me that I was pregnant with quads. We had been trying for so many years to fall pregnant naturally and to discover I was going to have four babies, especially when I’m a triplet myself, was just unbelievable. We were very nervous as we knew how ʀɪsᴋʏ a quad pregnancy can be, but luckily all the babies were born safely.”
