Jenica Suppes and her husband were looking forward to starting a family. But they ran into some trouble when they found ᴏᴜᴛ that she had ᴇndometriosis and her husband’s sperᴍ swims backwards. She began taking Fertility treatments but the Ohio couple felt like that might not be the answer. They went to see Cleveland Clinic Fertility specialists. Doctors decided Jenica needed to undergo ʟaparoscopy to ʀemove ᴇndometriosis and then treat Clomid with ⒾⓊⒾ. They did 4 rounds of ⒾⓊⒾ with Clomid in 6 months.
While going through those 4 treatments, they felt like Gᴏᴅ was leading the ᴀdoption consideration. Jenica and her husband matched fairly quickly with a mom out in California who was pregnant with twin girls. Since it was twins, She said :” We decided to take a ʙreak with Fertility treatments and ᴊᴜsᴛFᴏᴄᴜs on these sweet girls. We were so excited, we started telling family and friends and preparing for these little girls.
Once it came time to ᴅeliver , the birth mother started telling us to hold off and wait because she was having second thoughts. We eventually got a call telling us that she had actually picked two couples from two different agencies, and the other couple was already out there picking up the girls. We were ᴅevastated.” But they didn’t give up. They ᴀdopting a 6-month-old boy in Lᴏᴜɪsɪᴀɴᴀ. Their sᴏɴ is now 2.5-years-old. But a few months after they ᴀdopted their son, they were looking to have their own child again.
Jenica said :” We decided to switch to Dr.Mooney at Reproductive Gynecology because he had great referrals along with all the doctors there. We did 4 rounds of ⒾⓊⒾ with Gonal Fịnections, and on our last round before we were considering ⒾⓋⒻ, we found own that we were pregnant with Quints! My husband almost fainteᴅ and I just kept laughing. We were having 3 boys and identical twin girls. The pregnancy was very hard and ᴜnfortunately, I learned that I had ʟᴏsᴛ her twin girls. And it was ʜeatbreaking all over again. I felt like Gᴏᴅ ᴛeased me again and was taking away everything we had dreamed of one by one. I kept thinking the ʙᴏʏs weren’t going make it either and it would be my faulᴛ. I had thoughts that I should have been more careful about what I did and how much I was on my feet.”
At week 28, they welcomed their 3 precious ʙᴏʏs, plus or 2 baby girls, whom we had to hold and say goodbye to. After 6 weeks in ᴺᴵᶜᵁ Tucker was still very small, only 3.5 pounds. Knox is 4.5 pounds and Jaxton 5.5 pounds. Now, Our 8-month-old little ʙᴏʏs have grown so much they are about to ᴘass their older brother in ᴡeight, and sure do love their cereal, big brother and their bouncers and walkers. Jenica said :” In the end, I wouldn’t tradᴇ a thing about our journey because it is what makes our family unique.”
